Who is this event for?

Any birth worker is welcome. We are all here to listen, heal and learn.

Can I bring my kids?

Currently no childcare is available for these gatherings. But babes in arms are always welcome.

Can we join virtually?

These gatherings will meet in person at various Greater Seattle locations.

Topic: Topic: Corey Griffin will be sharing some grounding techniques for the birth room, and how the complexity of trauma can show up in the body for the birthing person and some tools to navigate those moments. Come connect if you can!

2:15pm Intro to Holding the Helpers: Caellyn shares a bit about the germination of this space.

2:30pm Lesson with Corey Griffin: This workshop equips birth workers to navigate trauma. Participants will learn to recognize the many ways trauma can present, develop practical tools to mitigate it in the field and contribute to post-traumatic growth for all involved

3:30pm QnA: Opportunity to ask Corey follow-up Qs, as well as troubleshoot and collaborate.
